Legal Organization Involvement

Jeff Briggs is a past president of the Century City Bar Association, where he also served as editor of its newsletter for several years.

Jeff also is a past president of the founding Los Angeles Chapter of the now statewide Association of Business Trial Lawyers.

Jeff is a former member of the Intellectual Property Advisory Committee of the Practicing Law Institute, and previously served on the Editorial Board of the official publication of the California State Bar Association, “California Lawyer.” He also served two years on the American Bar Association’s Membership Committee.

Jeff has taught seminars on trademark and copyright matters at the Boalt Center for Law and Technology (at Boalt Hall, the law school at the University of California at Berkeley) and at USC Law School.
